The poetry of sales lingo
This week my colleague, Jeffrey Weaver, and I were working to fit a lot of technical content into a direct mail piece. To do so he was reading it aloud. He said: "It put me in mind of the sales-pitch lingo from the sublime Patriot, on Amazon. Have you seen it? You must. It might be my all-time favorite writing for TV, this bit for one." You are so right, Jeffrey. This is hilarious.
